Introduction
Herne Bay Central Beach has two miles of shingle beach backed by a wide promenade and has one of the only two piers in Kent.
A popular beach destination with plenty of shops, cafes, pubs, ice creams and amusements along the sea front.
Plenty of Pay and Display parking along the sea front.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach from Herne Bay pier heading west to the mini roundabout at Lane End between 1st May to 30th September. Past Lane End all the way up to Hampton Pier is dog friendly.
