Introduction
Hampton Beach West sits to the West of Hampton Pier in Herne Bay and is a long section of shingle beach backed by a wide concrete promenade that goes all the way along to Swalecliffe Beach near Tankerton.
No refreshments available along this stretch of beach so you would need to head into Herne Bay. Nearest toilets on the slipway or in Hampton Pier car park.
Parking available in the car park off Swalecliffe Avenue which is Pay and display during the summer and free over the winter months.
Dog friendly beach all year round.
