We dont want to spoil your photos but sending us photos directly from your phone means each photo is probably 3 or 4 Mb.  This all takes up space on our server so we ask if you can follow these handy tips to reduce the file size of your photos and still have them looking great.

We recommend using Bulk Resize photos website for free photo resizing.

Select the photos you would like to submit

File Size: Move the slider to around 400kb 

Image Format: WEBP

Image Quality:  80%

Image Background: Tick the box for Transparent Background

Click Start

This will then reduce the file size of your photos and download a zip file.

Check the zip file size is less tha 2Mb. If not please check your settings and if necessary adjust and try again.

You can then just attach this zip file to the Add a Walk form and we will receive great looking photos.

Please click on “Add a Walk” at the top of the page and fill out the form. 

No you dont need to have an account to submit a walk but if you are registered we can credit the walk information to yourself and you also get other benefits such as Bookmarking your favourite walks and adding a walk review. 

No, page 1 and page2 are required to get all the basic info but the rest of the form is optional.  Please try and give us as much information as you can though so we can provide everyone with some great walk information.

All listings including Food and Drink, Secure Dog Fields, Dog walkers etc can be claimed if you are the owner of the business.  Dog walks cannot be claimed however if you think there is some incorrect information on a walk page please use the “Something Wrong?” button on the page to let us know.

Listings can only be claimed by the associated business owner who has registered and has a Business account so please make sure you select this account type when you register if you wish to claim your business page.

To claim a listing you can either search for your business or navigate to it via The Map and then click on the Claim Listing Button on the page.

When claiming a listing you will need to perform the following actions:

  • Choose a listing package
  • Fill out the Claim Listing Form with details of yourself and your role in the business.
  • Complete Check Out and Pay for your chosen package.

Once your claim is approved you can then access your listing and edit it via the My Listing tab in your account Dashboard.

We want to make sure that every business lisitng is being claimed by the owner and not a robot.  None of these details will be published on the website and are only asked for so we can contact you if we have any questions regarding your claim.

Simply click on any of the “Get Started Now” Buttons on this page and follow the steps to add your business.

Create or sign In to your Business Account.

Click on one of the “Get Started Now” buttons on this page.

Select your business category

On the Choose package page Select The Pawsome Listing Package

Fill out your page listings details.

Either Preview, Save Draft or Submit your listing.

When your listing is submitted you will arrive at the Cart where you can apply coupon codes if available and Procedd to Checkout.

Enter Billing details and place your order.

Your listing will then need to be approved by the Out With The Dog Team before it appears on The Map

If there are any issues with the submitted page listing we will contact you to discuss before the page is approved.

If for any reason your submitted page is deemed unsuitable to be listed on Out With The dog we will provide a full refund.

Once your page is approved you can manage and update your page your account dashboard. (Any updates will require further approval from the Out With The Dog Team.

Things do change and business’s get sold etc so if your business does change hands, is no longer dog friendly or permanently closed please contact us and let us know so we can remove your business from The Map.  Unfortunately we are unable to provide any refunds for any time remaining on your listing.

If you wish to cancel your page listing please contact us and we can remove your lisitngfor you.  Once listings have been removed all information is deleted so we are unable to restore your page at a later date.  Please note though that you can create a new page but this will not have any of the reviews and star rating you may have had on your old page. 

Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for any remaining time you have left on your page listing.

You will receive an email asking if you wish to renew your page listing prior to your renewal date.   If your listing is not renewed the page listing will be removed.  If for some reason you do not receive your renewal email please contact us ASAP so we reactivate your page before it is deleted.

Registering for an account is super easy,  just click on “Sign in or Register” on the main menu. 

We have two account types:

  • Dog Parents – This is the account you want if you are just wanting to view the website, add bookmarks of your favourite walks and business’s to your account and submit reviews.
  • Business Account – this does all the above but is only needed if you wish to Claim a Listing or Add your business as you can then manage your listings from your account dashboard.

This is probably because you have a Dog Parent Account and not a Business Account.  Please contact us and we can help switch you over to a Business Account
