Introduction
Walmer Beach is a large sand and pebble beach that is a continuation of Deal beach and stretches for around 2 miles from Deal Castle down to the Zetland Arms Pub in Kingsdown.
Easy walk into Deal along the beach front pathway / cycle path or the other way to a pub set right on the beach.
Large free car park available off Kingsdown Road just up from Walmer Castle.
This beach is dog friendly all year round.

- Free parking in the large Borrow Pit car park off Kingsdown Road
- Public toilets available at the south end of Borrow Pit car Park or up near to Deal Castle adjacent to the Walmer Paddling Pool.
- Three cafes and kiosks available between Deal Castle and Walmer Castle or pub on the beach at the far end in Kingsdown.
