Shinewater Park

Shinewater Park is Eastbourne's newest park that gives a country park feel to an area full of recreation facilities and is free to access all year round.

Attractions on offer include a childrens playground, dedicated BMX and skate area and all-weather sports court. The eastern area also has a large sports field and there are two large lakes, Hydneye Lake offering fishing by permit which can be obtained from the Pike Angling Club and the main Shinewater Lake which is dedicatd to wildlife and fishing is therefore not permitted.

Surfaced footpath and cycleways suitable for wheelchair access provide great routes around the Park including a circular walk great for a dog walk and there is plenty of seating available along to all the main paths.

Parking is available in the surrounding roads with the main entrance off Larkspur Drive.
