    Introduction

    Large woodland of 647 acres set on south facing slopes north of Hastings with two waymarked trails on unsurfaced footpaths.  Both start from the eastern car park with a short loop of 1.2km taking around 30 minutes and a slightly longer walk of 2.4km taking around an hour.   There are numerous other footpaths to also explore and also lead you for a walk down to the reservoir.
