    Introduction

    Park Wood is an ancient woodland that borders the northern part of King's Wood and lies 1.5 miles to the west ofChilham village.  Mainly owned by the Woodland Trust with a small section remaining in private ownership along the eastern side there are several unmarked footpaths covering the woodland.

    Free parking is available for one or two cars in the layby at the entrance located on the A252.
