Introduction
Brockhill Country Park is made up of three areas which include a lake, woodland and meadows all of which used to be part of a Norman manor.
Three waymarked trails exist and lead you around the park.
- Blue Route (Lake Loop) 1.1km surfaced route
- Red Route (Short Valley Walk) 2.5km grass surfaced route
- Green Route (Valley Wildlife Walk) 2.6km grass surfaced route
(Dogs to be kept onlead in the valley where sheep graze)
Picnic area and cafe are available for refreshment

Walk Details
- Starting from the carpark follow the Blue trail round and down to the Lake.
- When you reach the far end of the Lake you can either continue with the Blue trails and head back or choose to continue with the Red or Green Trail.
- The Red and Green trail initially follow the same route down to the far end of the Valley.
- At this point the two trails split with the Red following the Stream back to the Lake and the Green taking you into the Valley meadows.
- Once back at the Lake follow the Blue route back to the car park where you started your walk and visit the Cafe.

Brockhill Country Park has a lake, woods, meadows, picnic and play areas along with the excellent Brockhill Café which makes it a great spot for a dog walk and family day out.
Walk Information
- Easy - A fairly easy and flatish walk
- Three waymarked trails exist covering different parts of the country park.
- Approx. 1 hour dependant on route and pace.
- Blue route is surfaced with some slopes. Red and Green routes are grassed with steps and slopes.
- The Blue route is an accessible route. Further info can be found here
- No Stiles but some kissing gates.
- Dogs allowed off lead around the park but must be on lead when sheep are grazing in the meadowand when close to the carpark and cafe.
- Dog bins available
- Large pay and dispaly carpark available. Can also pay via parking apps.
- Toilets available at the entrance to the park near the cafe. Unisex accessible toilet also available.
- The onsite cafe sells a great range of food and hot and cold drinks and is famous for its homemade veggie burgers.
