
Whitstable Castle was originally known as Tankerton Towers and was a private residence for the Pearson Family back in the late 1790's and is now a unique venue for private and corporate events.
In 2009 the castle grounds were restored with the help of the Hertiage Lottery Fund and Canterbury City Council and provides a nice place to stop for refreshments in the Orangery Tearooms if your visiting Tankerton Slopes.
Dogs are allowed in the gardens on lead.
