Worth Nature Reserve, located near Sandwich in Kent, offers a scenic and accessible setting for dog walking. The reserve features a network of clearly defined footpaths that wind through woodland, open grassland, and around the lakes. The terrain is mostly flat, making it suitable for walkers of all abilities, although paths can become muddy in wet conditions. As the reserve supports a wide range of wildlife, dogs should be kept under control while on the trails.
The walk can be easily extended into the surrounding village using nearby public footpaths and quiet country lanes. This area showcases the character of east Kent, with farmland, hedgerows, and traditional village homes. After your walk, the dog-friendly St Crispin Inn provides a welcoming place to stop for refreshments, making it an ideal end point for both walkers and their dogs.
