Introduction
Whitehall Meadows and Bingley Island form part of Westgate Park and gardens and date back to the Domesday period. One of the few areas of riverside grassland that has not been treated with weed killers or fertilizers so plant life can thrive. Wild horses can sometimes graze the meadows.
Lots of places for refreshments available in the High Street.
Parking is available in the pay and display car park at Toddlers Cove or near Westgate Towers in North Lane.
