Introduction
Viking Bay is a large sandy bay with a small harbour located in the centre of Broadstairs and was once a favourite destination for Charles Dickens.
At low tide there is a tidal pool and rock pools and there is a board walk across the sand. Sadly dogs are not allowed on this beach from 1st May to the 30th September at any time but this is a great beach for a walk outside of the restrictions.
Pay and display car parks available around the town or free parking available in Eastern Esplanade.
