Tonbridge Racecourse Sportsground was originally used for an annual horse racing event back in 1850's and was an annual event for at least the next 24 years to around 1874. Located next to Tonbridge Castle the park is an island sitting between two branches of the River Medway and is a huge open area with lots of leisure facilities. Surfaced pathways circle the whole park following the banks of the river and through woodland. The Eden Valley Walk and the Weald Way Walk both pass closeby so it would be easy to extend your walk if desired.
Pay and Display parking available in the many car parks around Tonbridge town centre.
