South Swale Nature Reserve is located to the north of Faversham and is owned by Kent County Council and is managed by the Kent Wildlife Trust.
Covering 420 hectares of Marshland and beach the reserve is home to thousands of wildfowl and waders and forms part of the Saxon Shore Way.
Dogs should be kept on lead on this walk but the out and back walk along the sea wall is well worth it with views across the estuary to the Isle of Sheppy.

This is an out and back walk which allows you to walk either along the beach at low tide or along the grass bank behind the sea wall. The walk forms part of the Saxon Shore Way so easy to extend if you fancy a longer walk.
