Scotney Castle Estate covers 780 acres of woodland, parkland and gardens. Dogs are alowed on short leads around the whole site apart but only assistance dogs are permitted in the house, old castle and walled garden.
Dogs are also allowed in the shop and tea room where they can enjoy free dog treats but it is asked that dogs are tucked under the table to prevent them from being a trip hazard for other visitors and staff.
Dog water bowls are available in the courtyard area and by the visitor entrance and doggy ice cream can be purchased in the shop and tea room.
Entrance to the grounds is free but parking is charged at £4.50 a day for non members of the National Trust and parking must be booked online before arrival.
