Introduction
Newhaven West Quay Beach is located to the west of the port of Newhavens breakwater and is a pebble and shingle beach with some sand at low tide. Behind the beach lies Castle Hill Nature Reserve and Newhaven Fort so plenty to see and do if you visit.
No public toilets available but there is refreshments available at The Hope Inn Pub near the sea wall and the Cadence Clubhouse Cafe in the Newhaven Fort.
Parking for the beach and the sea wall is chared at £2.00 per day but free parking is avilable if visiting the Castle or Fort in a car park set behind the fort.
