Introduction
Minnis Bay is located between Reculver and Margate and has a long stretch of sandy beach. At high tide the beach becomes quite small and in the spring tides it can completely disappear but low tide uncovers a vast area of sand.
No dogs allowed on the beach at any time between 1st May and 30th September. However you can walk along the sea wall towards Reculver and the pebble beach a little way along from the main Minnis Bay beach is dog friendly all year round.
Parking is available in the large pay and display car park and also in the surrounding roads.
