Larkey Valley Wood Local Nature Reserve is a large ancient woodland of 44 hectares which was donated to Canterbury Council by Alderman Frank Hooker back in 1932. There are 3 way marked routes and several other footpaths covering the area allowing your walk to be as long or as short as you require.
Free parking in the small car park off Cockering Road.
Cockering Rd, Canterbury, Kent, CT4 7PH
Three way marked routes available
Blue: 1km
Orange: 2km
White: 3km
The start of all three routes wasn't particulary clear but just head up the byway track from the car park and the way marked sign post appear further along. When we visited there were no other walkers and the boys had a great run around.
