    Introduction

    East Beach runs from the east side of the pier all the way along to the harbour.  Some sections are part of a working beach and it is also a popular beach for watersports so not suitable for bathing.

    On this section of beach dogs dogs must be kept onlead from 1st May to 30th September.

    • Dogs must be kept onlead but are allowed on the beach
    • Pay and Display parking available in the surrounding roads.
    • Public toilets available at the pier and at the Sovereign Park West Car Park near the harbour.
    • Lots of kiosks, cafes and restaurants available along the promenade.
