Dunorlan Park is a spacious and grassy sloped park which was originally the gardens of a grand mansion built by the Yorkshire born millionaire Henry Reed. Today all that remains of the mansion is the terrace overlooking the weald and 778 acres of victorian landscaped gardens.
The park hosts a cafe, toilets (including disabled) a childrens play area, a boating lake, meadows and an events field.
Dogs are welcomed but the park is split into two with dogs allowed off lead in the meadows and events field and onlead around the lake and formal gardens. (See map in the gallery below). Please keep your dog under control and clean up after them using the dog bins provided around the park.

A great park for all year round walks with surfaced pathways around most of the park making it accessible and great for wet days. There is no way marked trails but it is easy to navigate around the park and enjoy the views.
A great park to visit with something for everyone to enjoy.
