Introduction
Birling Gap is a mainly pebble beach located just up the road from the infamous Beachy Head and is set at the base of some sheer chalk cliffs known as the Seven Sisters. Access is via a 50 step metal staircase set over 4 flight that decends the cliffs onto the beach.
Facilities include a cafe, shop, visitors centre, toilets and a pay and display car park.
Dog friendly beach all year round.
Beach can become quite small at high tide so check tide times for low tide for best access

- Accessible access to the shop, cafe and visitors centre with accessible toilets and disabled parking bays.
- Dogs on lead are allowed on the beach in the cafe and in the shop. When exploring the surrounding cliff tops it is also advisable to keep your dog on lead near the cliff top and around livestock.
