Introduction
Biggar Bank Beach is often the first beach you’ll reach when heading up the Walney coastline, located on the exposed west coast of Walney Island. This dog friendly beach all year round is a mix of smooth pebbles at high tide and wide stretches of sand at low tide.
A grassed bank with a surfaced pathway runs along the rear of the beach, making it an ideal spot for a family-friendly walk. It also sits adjacent to Sunny Gap Beach and The Round House Hub and Café.
There is plenty of parking available along the road.
