Introduction
Opened in July 2011 Beam Parklands transformed the Dagenham washlands into 131 acres of meadow and woodland and was designed to provide a flood defence from the River Beam which runs through the park. The park has a great network of footpaths to explore wil information boards located around the site giving interesting facts and snippets of history and years gone by. Parking can be found in the surrounding roads.
