Introduction
Barrow Park is a 45 acre award winning park set in the heart of Barrow in Furness. With a large boating lake, mini railway, skate park, playgrounds and bowling green this is a park for the whole family to enjoy.
Dog control orders are in place and enforce the removal of dog faeces, keeping dogs on lead and out of childrens play areas.
The “Cafe Pavilion” sits at the heart of the park and offers snacks along with hot and cold drinks, and opens daily from 10:30am.

OWTD Walk Verdict
A beautiful and well kept park in the centre of Barrow in Furness and perfect for a quiet stroll with the dog. Local dog control orders are in force here though and although we didn't see any signs explaining this Dog Control Order No. 2 means dogs must be kept on lead around the entire park.
Dont let that put you off though as its a great park and there are plenty of other locations for off lead walks nearby.

- Surfaced pathways around the whole park suitable for push chairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters but there are some steep inclines up to the
