Community woodland tucked away at the far end of a new housing estate. Various umade footpaths around the woods with free parking and cafe onsite.

Lovely walk. Free parking (bonus!) it’s not too long so if you want a quick walk it’s ideal. Just follow the hard paths rounds. But if you want to take a little longer, then wander through on many of the tracks leading through. There are plenty of points that mean you won’t get lost lol. There is the community centre there too, so you can get food. And there is a “mud kitchen!” For the kids around the back of the centre which I thought was lovely.
I walked around the time of school run but didn’t run into many people. There’s a field for those pups that enjoy a game of ball. Or plenty of woods for those like mine that are “wander sniffers”. Having an anti dog dog (people and kids are fine but she doesn’t like other dogs” even though we heard other people, we didn’t run into many people at all. Plenty of options to walk a different way and avoid each other.
A really really lovely little walk. Or longer if you wander!
I didn’t find any poop bins (they may have been at the centre itself, but it was my first walk there) so be prepared to carry the bag back home. What was nice, no poop bags hanging in trees!!! That makes a nice change!!
Lovely place and a new walk location for me and the flouff 😁
