Introduction
Margate Main Sands is a large 200m long sandy beach with a promenade, board walk and tidal pool. The beach has a cafe, seafood stall and is close to all the amenities that are available in the High Street, The Old Town and the Turner Contemporary Gallery.

- No dogs are allowed on this beach from 1st May to 30th September.
- Dog bins available
- Parking available on the Harbour Arm, surrounding streets, Dreamland car park or Mill Lane multi storey.
- Seasonal toilets available next to the Round Cafe near the clock tower or the Nayland Rock Shelter opposite the tidal pool are open all year round.
- The Round cafe is located next to the clock tower and serves hot and cold drinks and snacks. There are lots of other cafe's and bars within a short walk of the beach also.
