Introduction
The Old Brickworks is located in Lower Halstow in Kent with the main entrance off Lapwing Drive next to St Margarets Church. There is a small area of woodland set next to the edge of Halstow Creek with the Saxon Shore Way footpath following the waters edge giving you an out and back walk of around 5km.
Easy free parking in Lapwing Drive and other surrounding roads and a great village pub nearby for refreshments after your walk.

How to use the AllTrails map

Walk Information
- Easy - A fairly easy and flatish walk
- Our walk was just over 4km but as with most walks you can extend or shorten as required.
- Our walk below took us around 1 hour
- Grass and earth pathways throughout which can get muddy in wet weather.
- Sadly we would suggest this is not suitable for wheelchairs etc
- No stiles just kissing gates.
- Dogs allowed off lead but there is a lot of stinky soft mud along the edge of the estuary and some ponds in the woodland that you may not want your dog to have a bath in so for our water loving boys we had them on long lines.
- Dog bins available
- There is a small paking area at the end of Lapwing Drive at the entrance but if this is unavailable you can park in any of the surrounding roads.
- The Three Tuns Pub is a great dog friendly pub and just a short walk away.
