Hoo Common is an area of meadows and woodland located between Lower Upnor and Chattenden in Kent.
With a network of mown grass pathways and woodland trails this popular dog walking location provides a tranquil and scenic location overlooking the River Medway and is an ideal for exploration with your dog.
Large car park park available in Lower Upnor next to the old Arethusa Outdoor Centre or road side parking along Elm Avenue in Hoo.

OWTD Walk Verdict
A great space for off lead walking if live locally or your visiting the area but its not the biggest location for a walk unless you combine it with the Hoo Peninsula Trail and explore some of the coast line at the same time.

- Moderate - A walk with some hilly sections and some uneven pathways
- Mown grass open spaces and pathways with some woodland area with unsurfaced single track trails.
- Unfortunately there are no hard surfaced pathways at this location.
