Hull Pot lies on the western side of Pen-y-ghent to the north of the main Pennine Way footpath, which leads from the summit down into Horton-in-Ribblesdale.
The site is the remains of a collapsed cavern measuring 91 metres long, 18 metres wide and 18 metres deep and is the largest natural hole in England so be careful if you walk along the edge. Hull Pot Beck runs underground before reaching the rim where it appears as a waterfall.
Pay and display parking available in Horton in Ribblesdale and the start of the direct route up the Pennine Way starts from here. ///resettle.seasick.exists
It is also close to the route of the Yorkshire Three Peaks and is well worth a visit.
