How Tun Woods is a small, fairly flat urban woodland that the local community planted to mark the millennium.

Donated to the Woodland Trust by Barrow Borough Council the circular walk of just under a 1km via Ormsgill Quarry takes in some great views of the Isle of Man, Scotland, Morcambe Bay and the Lake District with benches available to sit and admire the view.

A small free car park is available at the main entrance and the dog friendly Bay Horse pub is only a short walk away.
