Introduction
Dymchurch Road Beach is a short section of beach located between Dymchurch Beach and St Mary's Bay that is dog friendly all year round.
The dog friendly section stretches from the Martello Car Park in Dymchurch to The Fairway in St Marys Bay and is fairly flat sand and pebble which means the tide can come in very quickly but you can walk quite a way along the beach when the tide is out. At high tide you can also walk along the promenade.
Best parking Dymchurch Road Beach is in the Martelo Pay and Display car park or the High Knocke car park both off the Dymchurch Road.

If you visit this beach at low tide this is probably the best dog friendly beach in Kent with shallow water letting your dog have a run and a splash in the sea before reaching some deeper water for a swim. The promenade stretches for around 4 miles from Dymchurch to St Marys Bay allowing you to escape the high tide and continue your walk. A great dog friendly beach well worth a visit.
