Introduction
Hemsted Forest has around 400 hectares of forest and is owned and managed by Forestry England. With around five miles of hard surfaced road around the forest and a multitude of further unsurfaced tracks this is a great place to visit all year round.

Walk Details
A lovely walk around a the forest with a network of wide surfaced tracks and unsurfaced footpaths. Parking is available in the large free car park which has a height barrier of around 1.9m. No other facilities are available at this location so take a picnic along for refreshments and plenty of water for the dogs if its a hot day.

An easy and tranquil walk if you stick to the main pathways which can be enjoyed in al weathers all year round.
