    Hempstead Recreation Ground is set on the edge of Hempstead and is a large grassed playing field and great for some off lead exercise.  The park however is bordered by the busy Pear Tree Lane which is fenced but the entrances are not gated and the other side of the park is all unfenced where it meets Harrow road.

    Popular with local dog owners this park has lots of space for ball throwing and a run around.  Just take care if your dogs recall is not great.
