Welcome to Poppy and Friends dog Walking

My name is Kelli and I have worked in the dog industry for a number of years. My journey started out at a dog training club and worked my way up to teaching my own classes and becoming club secretary.

I have attended a few dog training courses and I am now qualified in dog training with the Pet Dog Training Instructors. I also have my first aid training. As well as attending IMDT courses. So far with the IMDT I have completed the 4 day practical instructor course, with lots more in the pipeline over the coming year.

My early life, most of my pictures when I was younger always had dogs in them these could have been my grandparents dogs or my parents dog or other people dogs always dogs around me. My earliest memories are camping at agility shows with my grandparents, helping as much as my young self could in the kitchen, to playing with my friends that I only saw at agility shows.

I have taken on this adventure of dog walking and can’t wait to meet you and your beautiful pups. I can even help you train your pups using positive methods only.

Currently I own two dogs one is a whippet cross spaniel, she has taught me a lot about sight hounds, we have completed our Kennel Club Bronze and Sliver. As well we have competed in Hoopers, we have had to retire due to her health.

My second dog is Poppy, she is a working line cocker spaniel, she is in training to be an assistance dog, we have completed our Kennel Club Bronze, Sliver and working towards her Gold. Poppy also has a love for hoppers, she has started competing this year in Hoppers and so far has brought home, a 3rd Place, Clear round and a 2nd Place.
