12 March 2025 at 10:14We went for a lovely scenic walk to Pirton Chapel Tearoom. We saw this lovely quaint tearoom advertised so we thought we’d take a look and they were amazingly dog friendly throughout with even treats and water provided for them (which was very much needed after a long walk). We had amazing food there and coffee too! We did a big walk around the surrounding areas where you can take the bridalway into Hitchin itself. Pirton is a lovely village and very peaceful. Parking is free as they have street parking, parking in the school or the chapel tearoom itself. I did notice it was only open Fridays and Saturdays mind but also have 2 lovely pubs. We will definitely be returning as we want to try out some new routes around the area as well as going back to the tearoom!
