Introduction

Great Lines Heritage Park was created back in 2011 and lies on the land reserved since the 18th Century as the line of fire of the cannon defending Chatham Naval Dockyard.

The park has large playing fields with surfaced pathways down the middle and unsurfaced grassed footpaths around the edge.  At the far end there is managed wildlife grassland area that surrounds the large Naval Memorial and also offers great views across Medway.

The fields are only partially fenced and are used for sporting events and the local Park run at the weekends so dogs should be under control during these times.

Popular with local dog owners this is another park that has lots of space for ball throwing and a run around.
