EAST HOATH WOOD

Introduction

East Hoath Wood is an area of ancient woodland set on the western edge of Rainham.  The circular pathway around the wood was once hard surfaced but can still get muddy in wet weather.  Venturing into the center of the woodland the footpaths all become unsurfaced.  There are three entrances into the wood,  two  on Hoath Lane and one off Durham Road.

This woodland is popular with local dog walkers and is fairly well fenced but with two open entrances on the busy Hoath Lane its probably best to keep your dog close when walking near to this road.

Free parking is available in the surrounding roads.
