Introduction
Darenth Country Park is situated on the former site a Dartford Hospital and now consists of grazing pastures, wild flower meodows and orchards. With a variety of surfaced and unsurfaced pathways covering the site with some great views this park is a great dog walk all year round.
Facilities at the site are limited and are restricted to just a large free car park and picnic area and does not have a cafe or toilet facilities.

The walk consists of three main areas that are partially fenced and away from main roads.
Distance: Circular walk is around 2.0km (1.25 Miles)
Time: Approx. 45 minutes dependant on pace.
Terrain: The walk takes you along surfaced pathways and across grassland footpaths. Some slight ascent and decents exist as you head to the far side of the park.
Accessible: A network of surfaced pathways are available but they do not cover the whiole of the country park.
Stiles: None.
Dogs on leads?: Dogs allowed off lead.
Dog Bins: Yes.
Parking: Free parking available in the large car park.

A great find, and so close to home! This country park was enjoyed by dogs and grandchildren. The paths are well looked after and easily accessible. Lots of history there also. The car park appeared to be free which is a bonus. I will definitely be going back to explore further. Thank you outwiththedog
