We originally thought that this was a small walk (later realised the country park it was bigger than first thought) but we combined it with a walk along the creek into Faversham. We stopped at the Albion Tavern for lunch (lovely) and then walked back. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk, it was a long walk, glad we stopped for lunch! Thanks for the info

Lovely stretch of beach. Cute beach huts in pastel colours looking out onto the sea. We stopped off at Hub on the Beach. Had a large breakfast (which was definitely large) with good sausages and bacon, my husband had a vegetarian breakfast, would definitely recommend and a good price too. Very popular cafe and dog friendly. Well I definitely used my Out With the Dog app on our holiday in Dungeness lol. Such a brilliant website, I was able to find the locations easily, places to park and on top of that cafes to visit that are all dog friendly, taking the stress out of trying to find all these things on my own. Looking forward to our next adventure through OWTD.

We were lucky enough to spend a week in Dungeness. We walked along the boardwalk where there is a bench overlooking the sea at the end of the shingle. The nuclear power station is beautiful in its own way. An Old lighthouse that is definitely worth going up to the top. There is a small art gallery next to it too, worth a look round. Romney Hythe & Dymchurch miniature steam railway is cute, our dog loved it on there. The End of the Line Cafe is a lovely friendly cafe for a coffee. Prospect Cottage (Derek Jarman's house) definitely worth seeing and it is on the way to the Pilot Inn, had a lovely lunch there, warning the burgers are huge! Dungeness is such a special place and everywhere is dog friendly. Our dog loved it here and has never slept for well after all the lovely walks.

A great dog friendly pub! We popped in for a quick lunch and the staff made us feel welcome and showed us and the dogs to a table. We ordered via the Green King app and drinks and food came pretty quickly and we really enjoyed our ciabattas which were great value. If your looking for a quieter spot for lunch when visiting Whitstable this is well worth a visit.

Beautiful woods, especially in the autumn! It feels like you could walk for HOURS around here and there's plenty of hard pathways so even though it was muddy when we went it wasn't too slippy. Since it's a nature reserve they do ask that you keep dogs on lead or within your line of sight, we saw plenty of well behaved dogs off lead and close to their owners.

The only reason this gets 3 stars for us is that there are about 5 or 6 speed bumps on the road leading into the carpark that are absolutely brutal. I have a completely unremarkable Honda and I've been down some rough roads before but every single bump stuck out so much that they made contact with the underside of my car while I crawled along to get in and out. Thankfully it's all still in one piece but it does put me off of visiting again.

Lovely walk. Free parking (bonus!) it’s not too long so if you want a quick walk it’s ideal. Just follow the hard paths rounds. But if you want to take a little longer, then wander through on many of the tracks leading through. There are plenty of points that mean you won’t get lost lol. There is the community centre there too, so you can get food. And there is a “mud kitchen!” For the kids around the back of the centre which I thought was lovely.
I walked around the time of school run but didn’t run into many people. There’s a field for those pups that enjoy a game of ball. Or plenty of woods for those like mine that are “wander sniffers”. Having an anti dog dog (people and kids are fine but she doesn’t like other dogs” even though we heard other people, we didn’t run into many people at all. Plenty of options to walk a different way and avoid each other.
A really really lovely little walk. Or longer if you wander!
I didn’t find any poop bins (they may have been at the centre itself, but it was my first walk there) so be prepared to carry the bag back home. What was nice, no poop bags hanging in trees!!! That makes a nice change!!
Lovely place and a new walk location for me and the flouff 😁
