Our next bulldog walk in Kent at Hothfield Nature Reserve has been arranged!

Sherrill will be at entrance of the reserve by the car park (which is free) to meet and greet you all from about 10.45am with the walk starting at 11am.

This walk is a gentle 40 – 50 minute amble.

We will have a collection tin so please, if you can, support us with a donation on the day to help our foster dogs

It would be fantastic to see as many of your pups as possible at our walk

Please note, everyone and all breeds are welcome. If you don’t have a dog, you can also come and join in!

If you have an anxious dog please ask Sherrill who will be wearing a high viz jacket for a yellow ribbon to attach to their harness or lead.

NO aggressive dogs please! If you’re dog is aggressive with other dogs it might not be the walk your dog needs.

We must stress absolutely NO Human Aggressive behaviour tolerated.

Walk with us to celebrate 35 years of compassionate care for the community! Raise money for your local hospice with the Bluebell Walk.

The Bluebell Walk follows a picturesque leisurely six-mile ramble taking you amongst the stunning bluebells and through enchanting woodland on the North Downs. Walkers will be offered an additional route on the North Downs Way which bypasses the stiles at Lower Dean Farm.

What to expect on the day

Step into a day to remember as your journey begins at our vibrant Event Village, where a selection of refreshments will be available to purchase on arrival. Walkers will set off in relaxed waves, following our fully guided routes through the stunning landscapes of the Kent Downs, with breath-taking views at every turn.

Along the walk, visit our peaceful Field of Remembrance. Enjoy a cold drink, reflect, or simply relax with a picnic of your own. You’ll also find our memory wall along the route at this picnic spot, where you’re invited to dedicate a message – write a name, a note, or a simple thought and add it to the wall in remembrance.

Each ticket includes a Bluebell Walk branded T-shirt, giving you a lasting keepsake from the day and a way to show your support long after the walk is over.

Bluebells & Cream Tea Weekend

25th & 26th April

Join us for a walk through Bredhurst Woods in all its springtime glory.

Meet at 2PM for guided walks through Bredhurst Woods followed by cream teas at Blacksmith’s Community Barn, Bredhurst ME7 3JU.

Walks start at 2pm, short (3km, about an hour) and long (5.5km, about 2 hours) walks available.

Tickets £10.00 per person, must be purchased in advance and will not be available on the day. Children under 16 free. Dogs on leads welcome.

Please park in St Peter’s Church car park, Hurstwood Road (only blue badge holders at the barn).

Donated to the Woodland Trust by Barrow Borough Council the circular walk of just under a 1km via Ormsgill Quarry takes in some great views of the Isle of Man, Scotland, Morcambe Bay and the Lake District with benches available to sit and admire the view.

A small free car park is available at the main entrance and the dog friendly Bay Horse pub is only a short walk away.
