The Red Lion Badlesmere is a family run free house with cosy open fires and beautiful country garden with a relaxed pub atmosphere.

This dog friendly pub offers a fully gluten free menu with pub classics, specials with vegetarian and vegan options. Dogs are welcome in both the restaurant and garden but please keep them on lead and clean up after them.

Open monday to Saturday 12 noon to 10pm and Sunday 12 noon to 6pm

The Loddington Tap is a dog friendly tap room located in the small village of Linton on the outskirts of Maidstone Kent.

How Tun Woods

How Tun Woods is a small, fairly flat urban woodland that the local community planted to mark the millennium.

Donated to the Woodland Trust by Barrow Borough Council the circular walk of just under a 1km via Ormsgill Quarry takes in some great views of the Isle of Man, Scotland, Morcambe Bay and the Lake District with benches available to sit and admire the view.

A small free car park is available at the main entrance and the dog friendly Bay Horse pub is only a short walk away.

Barrow Park is a 45 acre award winning park set in the heart of Barrow in Furness. With a large boating lake, mini railway, skate park, playgrounds and bowling green this is a park for the whole family to enjoy.

Dog control orders are in place and enforce the removal of dog faeces, keeping dogs on lead and out of childrens play areas.

The “Cafe Pavilion” sits at the heart of the park and offers snacks along with hot and cold drinks, and opens daily from 10:30am.
